Self thought from the Rise(Rap)

Here are three songs The first is called G-eazy - Sad Boy, the second is Kyle ft Chance the Rapper - Remember me, and the third is Kendrick Lamar - u (God Is Gangsta). All these songs are on the same subject; looking back at your life while in your current state. All three of these rappers have their views on whats happening, in Sad boy G-eazy has made it to fame but he's not the happiest with his life because he's not valuing the thing which he wants to value, finding himself torn between his now life as an artist and his life in San Francisco the bay area. Give it a listen it's a great song.
On Kyle's side we see that on his way to fame someone of importance to him used to never be around but now that he has made it now this person want's to be there. A great example of this and one of my favorite lyrics is "Don't try to eat with me now, if you couldn't starve with me then." which really sets a great tone for me. Kyle is angry and sad, which is weird because he is known for being funny and a lucky go happy person in his song-- so when he's pissed you'll know. Overall the song is great and the Chorus preformed by Chance the rapper makes the song so much more eerie. It's a different experience for new listeners.
Finally U by Kendrick Lammar this song is just awesome. (It's seven minutes long and broken into three parts so I suggest you listen to the full thing first. ) In this song Kendrick is mad at him self for not being there for his family in friends in Compton and see himself as a failure and an insufficient leader. (This song is eerie as f*uck..."Excuse my french but i'm in France"... just look up the quote if you don't understand.) Kendrick unusual style and choice of instrumental makes it so even when there's an extreme change in flow or beat, it works and it works well really pulling you into it. Just listen too these songs, they all really are something to think about.
